A 12-year-old Center Moriches girl was struck by a Jeep Wrangler and airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries, the Suffolk County Police Department said. The girl was crossing Main Street near Clinton Street in downtown Center Moriches when the westbound 2015 Jeep hit her, the Suffolk police said in a news release.
