Lovebug season is almost here… 🐞😱 Every summer, lovebugs take over parts of the Seoul metro area. They don’t bite or spread diseases, but the sheer number of them can make life pretty miserable. And last year, one local hero decided to fight back. Meet @kimlark34, a mountain runner who went viral for clearing massive piles of lovebugs on Mt. Gyeyang in Incheon. Armed with a broom, an electric fly swatter, and eventually even a shovel, he took on the swarm like an absolute legend. 😭 Lovebugs usually disappear within about a week, but during peak season, hikers say they can end up flying into their eyes, noses, and even mouths.
