Today is the day. There is so much that goes into an offering like this. The planning, the gift bags, the setup, the intention behind every single detail. This is not something I get to do all the time, which makes it that much more sacred when it comes together. And what gets me most this morning is thinking about the women who are coming. From Birmingham. From Piedmont. From Gadsden, Jacksonville, Anniston, Oxford. Women who carved out a Thursday evening, who said yes to themselves, who decided that they deserved a few hours of stillness, sound, and ceremony. Women who may not even know yet how much they needed this until they arrive and feel the land and let the bowls do what the bowls do. That is the part I love most about this work.
