Tasked with reviving a historic Hamptons home for hoteliers sarahjwetenhall and Andrew Wetenhall, #AD100 designer hadleywiggins_ transformed an 1890s Queen Anne-style cottage into a sweetly romantic escape. “I wanted to reuse every doorknob, every sink, every hinge,” Wetenhall says. Wherever original details couldn’t be saved, they were painstakingly recreated—from matching trim profiles and V-grooves to a custom stain blended from 13 ingredients to give the new work an age-appropriate glow.
