Enzo Amore has addressed the possibility of one day reuniting with his longtime tag team partner Big Cass.
Speaking with emiliosparks, Amore was asked about teaming with Cass again in 4th Rope Wrestling, the independent promotion where he competes, and made clear it isn't his decision. "Not the booker," he said.
He credited Cass with helping him survive his early days. "Big Cass saved my life a million times," Amore said, calling him his best friend. "He's my best buddy. I mean, we played three fantasy football leagues. He was my homie. And I didn't have any friends when I got signed to WWE. Nobody wanted to talk to me."
Amore said he also walked in with a target on his back, because he "could cut a f***ing promo better than everyone. Day one." The comments come after reports that WWE is interested in reuniting the duo, with Amore reportedly expected to turn up in NXT. Big Bill's (Cass) contract with AEW was reportedly set to expire sometime this month.
