He called Jon Moxley "a total ECW Sandman, New Jack style performer" and compared AEW's in-ring approach to Rob Van Dam versus Jerry Lynn in 1999. He also said Tony Khan's "billion dollar checkbook" raised talent pay across the business, and that he wishes there were even more promotions: "It's just going to make us work harder to be better than all of them." Heyman contrasted that with TNA, the company he nearly took over in 2010. He said those talks fell apart over its reliance on its veteran stars, and that it was content being "WWE light."
