A new version of the lucha libre faction Los Perros del Mal formed and attacked El Grande Americano to close the June 20 episode of Lucha Libre AAA on Fox in Mérida. El Grande Americano appeared for the first time since winning his mask versus mask match at Noche de Los Grandes, celebrating with the crowd and setting his sights on AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio. As he called out Mysterio, NXT’s Karmen Petrovic walked out and stared him down from ringside before four men, Daga, Bronco Nima, Angel, and Berto, surrounded him and attacked.
