FTR's Dax Harwood announced that he and Cash Wheeler are stepping away from full-time wrestling to rest and spend time with their families, the team's first extended break in 12 years. In a statement on Instagram, Harwood said FTR had kept "the pedal to the floor" since 2014 and that both became physically and mentally exhausted. He detailed injuries he has worked through, including three hematomas in his lower back, a bicep tear he opted not to have surgery on, a labrum tear from his groin to his hip, and a shoulder he said needs replacement. "For the first time in 12 years, we've decided to step away and take some time for ourselves & for our families," Harwood wrote, adding he is unsure when the team will return.
