They've finished redevelopment on the intersection at Centre Street and 8th Avenue (Stephen Avenue). It had been restricted for several months while this took place. The sidewalks were widened and made uniform with the sidewalks down Centre Street, paint and markings have been improved, and the pavement was replaced with bricks. Bollards (that mechanically raise and lower) have also been installed. The Pride crosswalk has also been upgraded with a texture that is rough and more like sandpaper. It used to be slick and would even get slippery in the rain - that won't happen anymore.
