Just because you're picking a higher SPF does not mean you can go longer between reapplications.
A higher SPF like 70 or 100 does provide better protection during that two-hour window — especially under real-world conditions when most people don't apply enough.
However, it is not rated to last longer than two hours. And if you're sweating or swimming, you probably need to reapply even more frequently.
If you aren't reapplying, you are risking sun damage.
Do not get lulled into a false sense of security that an SPF 100 is gonna protect you all day long. It won't.
Reapply every two hours. No exceptions.
