After 16 years of small‑batch ales, barrel‑aged experiments and a loyal following that stretched from Madison County to the heart of Des Moines, Twisted Vine Brewery is preparing to pour its final pints.
The East Village taproom — the brewery’s most ambitious home yet — will close on July 5, marking the end of a long, winding journey through Iowa’s craft beer landscape.
“From our founding days in St. Charles, to growing with you in West Des Moines, and ultimately reimagining the historic Central Oil Works warehouse in the heart of Des Moines, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary,” the brewery wrote on Facebook.
