We were not expecting this at all 🤯 As we were driving into Kansas City, we stumbled upon one of the greatest Croatia watch parties ever. I mean where else are you gonna watch a World Cup game in a bowling alley packed with hundreds of passionate fans? Turns out that st.johns_club has been hosting these events for every World Cup since 2010, growing bigger and bigger each tournament! The story behind this Catholic Club is pretty cool, since it was started all the way back in 1922 when members of the community would use the hall beneath the church (conceived and built by Croatian immigrants) as a place for recreation and socializing. A couple years later, they realized they needed more space, so they built the rec building right next door, which has included an awesome bowling alley almost since its very inception.
