It was not what we were expecting at all… At the World Cup opener in LA, a passionate fan from St. Louis (m_cat09) told us that if we ever passed through Missouri, we should definitely check out the Spanish Society during a Spain game. Despite the bus breaking down on us, we still found a way to make it to St. Louis and visit this incredible spot. At first, we didn’t know if anyone was there or if they’d be watching the game, but after finding a side entrance to the basement, we discovered a soccer treasure unlike anything we could’ve ever imagined. For almost a century, the Spanish Society has been a beacon for the sport in St. Louis, and we got to hang out with some incredible people and learn some amazing history!
