The Huntley Police Department is working to address what it calls "reckless and unlawful" electric motorcycles riding around the community. The department shared new video of a recent incident and said it needs help identifying the drivers. Officers said the video does not capturefour adults and five juveniles who were waiting to cross at the crosswalk, along with a motorcycle approaching the intersection. Police are conducting traffic enforcement in the areas with the most complaints, but officers are still seeing some dangerous behavior. Huntley police warned anyone under 18 cannot operate the vehicles on public roads. Doing so can lead to criminal charges and serious consequences.
