I thought I was flying to Canada for a speaking engagement… but that wasn’t the best part of the trip. 👀🇨🇦 Keaton and I traveled together from Tampa after teaching animation camp at USF, where he was also my videographer for camp and for my ACCESS NOW speaking engagement. While we were in Canada, we met up with our longtime friend Rachel, who is also autistic like us. And as a bonus, we got to meet Ryan Handbury from Love on the Spectrum Australia! 🤩 One of my favorite parts of adulthood is traveling independently for work and making memories with friends along the way. I know independent travel isn’t possible for everyone with a disability, and that’s okay. But if it’s something you’re able to do, I encourage you to work toward it.
