Sometimes a dog that didn’t show resource guarding when they were young, starts displaying it a bit older. It’s way less common, but it does happen. It’s more common in dog to dog interactions vs dog to human interactions. Dogs that used to be able to share toys or bones or something like that can eventually decide that they don’t want to share anymore. That can also happen with their handler or other household members as well. Interested in working through resource guarding with us? Come to our location in Glyndon, Maryland!
