A Tucson man was cited after police say he admitted to starting multiple brush fires near Ruthrauff Road and I-10. According to Tucson Fire, crews responded around 10:30 p.m. on May 20 to several brush fires near West Camino del Cerro and Silverbell Road. Firefighters from multiple agencies worked to contain the fires before they could spread further. Police say 59-year-old Thomas Gary Warren later admitted to starting the fires and was cited on seven misdemeanor counts of reckless burning.
