There was a time when all I could do was pray for the family I wished I’d been raised in. I remember telling God that if He saw fit to bless me with a wife, children, and a home filled with love… I would spend the rest of my life doing everything I could to steward that blessing well. I’m far from perfect. But every single day, I wake up striving to become a better husband… a better father… and a better man than I was yesterday. Leading my family in the assignment God has entrusted to us is the greatest responsibility I’ve ever carried. That’s why I pray constantly. “Dear God… guide my footsteps. Give me wisdom for every decision. Reveal my blind spots. Protect my family. And help me become the man they need me to be.” Because the greatest blessing God has ever given me… Isn’t what I’ve built.
