AI data centers are exploiting Black neighborhoods and harming the health of Black residents – all while the oligarchs line their pockets. In Memphis, like in many other cities across the country, data centers are depleting resources that Black communities rely on, and we need to fight back. That’s why we gathered community members, passionate advocates, and partners for a teach-in as part of our Juneteenth Week of Action. Together, we discussed how to protect our community from the harms of data centers.
