This June Dairy Month, we’re so excited to officially declare June 26th as the very first annual National Skyr Yogurt Day!! 🥄 Skyr is a traditional Icelandic cultured dairy food that’s been made for over 1,000 years. While often grouped with yogurt here in the U.S., it’s truly its own category in Iceland, known for its thick, creamy texture and naturally high protein content! We’re farmers first, and at the heart of what we do is a simple: honor the milk we produce. For us, skyr does just that: transforming high-quality organic milk from pasture-raised cows into something nourishing, intentional, and rooted in integrity. It’s a way of letting the milk speak for itself.
