Late Father’s Day post because we were at the baseball field from 8am - 3:30 yesterday, sooo that should tell you everything about my husband’s Father’s Day. It was a dream!! These boys lost on Friday and had to claw their way back through 2 games on Saturday and 3 games on Sunday to take the title. And they did just that! They played 7 games in 4 days and I think this weekend they started to understand what it means to play on a team. Players had good games/bad games and different kids needed to get picked up at different times. Cayson was having a hard time the last game. He was just exhausted and I heard one of the players say “Cayson, just one more out!” 🥹 Watching these 6 year olds become a team was something else ❤️. And winning on Father’s Day was just the cherry on top. My boys love baseball and it’s because their daddy pours all he has into them. They are never not playing catch with their dad, looking at baseball cards, hitting off the tee, and as of late…now we’re intereste...
