Reds ace Hunter Greene made a Triple-A rehab start for the Louisville Bats against the St. Paul Saints at Slugger Field on Tuesday, June 23. Greene threw four shutout innings on Tuesday, yielding just two hits and a walk while striking out three over 64 pitches (36 strikes). Greene got through a little bit of everything against St. Paul, working out of trouble twice and finding a groove through the middle innings. Greene allowed a one-out triple in the first inning to Minnesota Twins' top prospect Walker Jenkins but struck out Gabriel Gonzalez and got Matt Wallner to foul out to eliminate the threat. After the triple, Greene retired nine consecutive batters before Gonzalez singled with one out in the fourth, then Wallner worked a walk.
