I wanted to take a few minutes to talk to you guys about my journey through Engineering. Engineering school was HARD. I was absolutely by no means the best student. I battled a lot of mental health issues as a result of never feeling good enough. It’s really difficult to be in an environment where you constantly feel like you aren’t doing enough, never studying hard enough, or scoring high enough despite neglecting all other aspects of your life that aren’t academics. I’m here to encourage you to keep fighting. When I first started at JPL I battled a lot of insecurity. However, once I started trusting myself and the quality of my work those feelings started dying off.
