Let’s talk spacesuits! This is a Final Frontier Design IVA spacesuit. IVA stands for intravehicular activity. Meaning that this suit is only suitable for use inside a spacecraft. This suit can be pressurized in the event of an emergency such as a loss of pressure inside a spacecraft or high altitude aircraft. ✨ Now let’s talk about usability. For a first timer, pressurized suits are so hard to use! You essentially turn into the Michelin man or a human ballon. Even bending your fingers is difficult. I found myself having to adopt new methods of performing basic tasks due to the lack of mobility. ✨ I already can’t wait to get back into one!
