May 18, 2022: Finally graduated from csulongbeach with my Bachelor’s in Fashion Design with a minor in Fashion Merchandising 🪡 #gobeach #beachgrad2022 — I didn’t realize it at the time, but the biggest blessing in disguise was getting rescinded from CSULB a few weeks before the Fall 2016 semester. I quickly enrolled at LBCC where I would attend for 3 years and transfer. For a while, I was bitter that I couldn’t afford fashion school in NYC or overseas like I saw online—but I eventually realized that I needed to embrace my journey and make the most of it. — In these last 6 years, I’ve paid for school completely on my own through scholarships, loans, and retail jobs. I documented my designs and collections to share on social media, participated in local fashion shows/events, and took opportunities to connect with other talented individuals in the industry to get my name out there.
