What happens when a theatre background meets a business degree? Lisa Amerongen (EMBA '23) spent more than a decade in the nonprofit world before hitting a ceiling. She knew the mission and the audience, but lacked the hard financial and operational skills to lead at the level she wanted. The Executive MBA at Rotman changed that. "I was able to translate financials into storytelling, which is essential for nonprofit work," she says. "I wouldn't have been able to do that without Rotman."
