One thing I’ve learned recently? Healthy eating comes with different challenges in different seasons of life.
When my kids were home, I loved Hungryroot because it helped me get healthy meals on the table quickly for a busy family. Less planning, less stress, and meals everyone could enjoy.
Now that I’m mostly cooking for just my husband and I, I love it for a completely different reason.
I don’t want to buy a dozen ingredients for one recipe. I don’t want food going bad in the fridge. And I definitely don’t want to spend hours meal planning and grocery shopping for just two people.
That’s why Hungryroot has been such a great fit. The groceries are delivered right to my door, the recipes are simple and delicious, and it’s easy to make healthy eating work whether you’re feeding a family of four or just one or two people.
It’s also one of the challenges I hear most often from women in my LEAN program. Empty nesters still want healthy, high quality meals, but cooking for fewer people...
