ICYMI: This month, Surrey Sports Hall of Fame welcomed the Class of 2026 recognizing and celebrating individuals who have “brought recognition and honour to Surrey”. It is with incredible pride to acknowledge our very own Sarah Hunter was inducted into the Hall of Fame as an athlete paving a legacy in wheelchair tennis that earned her: 🏆 2x Paralympian 🏆 World No. 2 Quad Singles Rank 🎾 11x Canadian Singles Titles 🎾 7x Canadian Doubles Titles Over the course of her career Sarah also remains a three-time recipient of the Canadian Wheelchair Sports Association Female Athlete of the Year. She is one of the most accomplished para-athletes in Canadian sport history, and the highest ranking of any Canadian wheelchair tennis athlete ever.
