You disagree with the decision, but you’re not sure how to say it in English.    The hard part is usually the first sentence.  Your manager has just explained what they want to do. You see a problem, but you don’t want to sound rude or difficult.    You can start with one of these:    🔵 Can I share a different view on that?    🔵 Could I flag one concern before we move ahead?    🔵 I want to check my understanding first.    These phrases help because they don’t sound like an attack. They show that you’ve listened first, and now you want to add something.    This matters even more in writing.  In an email, your manager can’t hear your tone of voice. They can’t see your face. They only see the words.    So if your email is a little too direct, it can sound rude.
