If someone is speaking too quickly, don’t pretend you understood.    Just ask them to go over it again.    You can say:    🔵 Sorry, could you go over that again?    🔵 Could you say that last part again?    🔵 Can we go back to the point about [the budget]?    🔵 Just before we move on, can I check something?    🔵 I missed the end of that. Could you repeat it?    People usually don’t mind repeating something.
