I really wasn’t a morning person when I started working as a brand ambassador, two years ago. And then I met Patrick. He was always so polite and smiley and I started to look forward to our conversations. He told me he’d lost his wife and started drinking as a result. He was trying to get sober and wanted to get back to being a tattoo artist, which he loved. I recently found out Patrick is no longer with us. But I will always remember his kindness, his sense of humour and how he fought every day to be a better person. He would literally give you the hat off his head. And that’s how I came to own the hat you see in the picture. There will be people who come into your life, if only for a minute, who just light you up and change everything. Let them know you appreciate them. Make them feel seen and heard.
