A bijou bathroom concept for a Grade II listed Georgian home, using handmade glazed zellige tiles, marble window mosaic floor tiles, sculptural lighting and rich green joinery. Bathrooms in period houses are always a bit of a puzzle to solve because they were never part of the original design. They are usually carved out of former bedrooms, dressing rooms or service spaces, so each one needs its own logic. Here, we took what would once have been a generous bedroom and divided it into an additional bedroom and a more compact bathroom. That’s often the story of period houses.
