This past year, although on the outside was probably the most successful my career has ever been, and a lot of my dreams that I worked hard for came true, it came at the expense of a lot of pain and heartbreak in my personal life. I had big heartbreaks this year, one right before the playoffs, and one right before I boarded my flight to the NBA finals. Although I don’t want to express what I went through publicly, It was hard trying to put out content and balance wrestling, boxing, and the best NBA season I’ve covered in years. I had to really push through mentally just to get through the season. I was very happy at the output, but it came at the expense of my personal relationships. Because of a lot of tough lessons I’ve been through in the business, I had to put up very strict boundaries just to protect my craft and my heart.
