I decided I wanted to turn my closet over for the colder seasons by storing items that I can't wear and clean it out. While cleaning it out and storing my spring/summer clothing, I decided I needed a new closet wall to add more storage and functionality. It was originally just one pole all the way across and we built an entire closet wall. I drew the design out, purchased all of the supplies from Home Depot, tore the original closet down, cut the wood and installed my new closet wall. I now have much more hanging and folding space for my clothes and accessories. Here's the entire building process. We used MDF and some of the original wood.
