FULL-TIME 🇫🇷 3-0 🇸🇪
France march into the Round of 16 in style. 🇫🇷✨
Les Bleus produced another dominant display to comfortably dispatch Sweden and book a Round of 16 clash with Paraguay.
It was, once again, Kylian Mbappé who set the tone, opening the scoring in the first half with his 17th FIFA World Cup goal. Bradley Barcola doubled France's advantage after the break before Mbappé added his second of the evening to make it 18 World Cup goals, drawing level with Lionel Messi's all-time tournament record.
Behind much of France's attacking brilliance was Michael Olise, who delivered another masterclass in creativity, registering two more assists to continue his outstanding tournament.
Clinical in attack, composed in possession and rock-solid defensively, France sent a clear message to the rest of the field. Next up: Paraguay in what promises to be a fascinating Round of 16 encounter. 🇫🇷⚽
