Today's Sexual Assault Prevention Grant Spotlight is on Francis Marion University Francis Marion University’s Office of Student Life utilized a SCIP grant to host creative, student-centered programming focused on raising awareness about sexual assault and promoting prevention on campus. Students participated in a Denim Design Night, where over 30 students customized denim pieces in preparation for a Denim Day Fashion Show. The fashion show highlighted student creativity while also creating space for meaningful conversations around prevention, support, and available campus and community resources. The event brought together partners including the Pee Dee Coalition, FMU Counseling and Testing Center, Campus Police, and SCIP, helping connect students to important education and support systems.
