Throughout April, SCIP is spotlighting prevention work happening on college campuses across South Carolina for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Today, we’re highlighting Charleston Southern University and the prevention efforts supported through a SCIP grant. Their initiative, Because He First Loved, focuses on helping students build healthy relationships and strengthen a culture of respect on campus. During the week of programming, over 170 students participated in prevention-focused events, sparking important conversations and connecting students with support resources.
