Why believe survivors? Because coming forward is often difficult and can involve real barriers — including fear of not being believed, retaliation, or uncertainty about how others may respond. Believing survivors does not mean ignoring process. It means responding with care and intention: listening without judgment, taking concerns seriously, and helping connect individuals to appropriate support and resources.
