Walked into the studio with davidoramirez & its_cecily a few weeks ago. Cecily picked up some coffees, we all sat and talked about life, and then eventually got into writing. One amazing thing about writing sessions is that there is this space to share and pray and just be friends. The writing always comes after those moments. Anyways, loved catching up with my friends about their life and then reminiscing about the time Cecily came to my new house and we made soup and ate it on the floor because I didn’t have furniture yet haha. One of the things we talked about was the ability to have peace and joy in the middle. In the middle of the chaos, in the waiting, the pain, the doubts, the questions, to still somehow have peace and joy. How is this possible?! Well, we all know the only way is Jesus.
