this took too long to not milk it but also this project is special to me 🤧 my younger self would loveeee this!! I used to watch animations and think, “I wish I could make art like that.” For a big part of my childhood, I admired it from afar- telling people it’s what I wanted to do yet quietly convinced it wasn’t for me…..all without ever trying. 😭 that part of my life never crossed my mind until over a decade later, I’m moving paper scraps on the floor. The curiosities we choose to leave behind never leave us. They follow us through adulthood, resurfacing in new forms until we’re ready to accept them. 🥲 I see those same thoughts mirrored in comments under my own art sometimes, and it stays with me, because so often, what seems unreachable has not been started.
