this song was not talked about enough!! one thing I deeply respect about Kendrick’s artistry is his ability to truly use music as a vehicle for introspection and honesty. What I find to be especially admirable about this track, is his refusal to dilute the complexity of his thoughts or emotions for the sake of mass appeal.
