She was expected to become an engineer. Instead, she found her calling in the skilled trades. After completing a degree in Automation Engineering, Vienna Lepple chose a different path; becoming an electrical apprentice at Niagara College. It was a decision inspired by hands-on experience during a co-op placement, and one she hasn't looked back from. At NC, Vienna became known for helping classmates master challenging concepts, creating practice exams, and mentoring fellow apprentices. Her dedication earned her the prestigious Dakota Prep Fellowship, making her one of only four apprentices across Canada selected for the national award recognizing peer mentorship and leadership in the skilled trades. Now working as a journeyperson electrician, Vienna has one piece of advice: "Don't be scared to change. You're allowed to follow your passions."
