A rampart is defined as a wall or protective barrier around a city. It reminds me of our famous tagline underarmour…”Protect This House.” That’s essentially what we are doing through our work with a program we stood up nearly ten years ago fittingly called “Project Rampart.” Through Project Rampart we: -Outfit 4,000 Baltimore City student athletes each year with uniforms and apparel (more than 40K since inception); Also outfit every coach on the sidelines -Provide academic support in the classroom through a partnership with athlife.foundation -Renovated more than 80 facilities ensuring athletes have a safe place to play -Partner with positivecoachus to develop programming for Baltimore City coaches and other leaders -Create leadership and mentorship opportunities for the more than 80 student athletes apart of the Student Athlete Leadership Council -Have seen a record 3.01 GPA and graduation rates reach more than 97.5% this year alone Athletes like Dunbar’s Tristian Wallace...
