Venezuelans are devastated after the country’s northern coast was hit by back-to-back earthquakes, destroying several homes and buildings and leaving neighbors and families searching for their loved ones. The two earthquakes, with magnitudes of 7.2 and a 7.5, are considered to be among the strongest to hit the country in more than a century. In videos posted to social media, people rushed out of their homes with their pets and families during the tremors and shared the destruction left behind in the aftermath.
