Please join us in celebrating #Olympic skier Nikhil — he competed in the Winter Games in Italy earlier this year after shoulder surgery at our hospital! After battling multiple shoulder dislocations, Nikhil suffered a severe injury in early 2025 and came to us for a complex shoulder surgery with #orthopedic surgeon Dr. Nirav Pandya (drnkpandya). Nikhil completed months of rehab before returning to the slopes and qualifying for the winter #Olympics, where he proudly represented Trinidad and Tobago in both the slalom and giant #slalom events. As an added honor, he served as Trinidad and Tobago’s flag bearer during the Parade of Nations. Nikhil’s younger brother, Vivaan, also is an alpine #skier and received care from Dr. Mohammad Diab in 2023 for a back injury. He's now doing great as well and hopes to make the bostoncollege ski team and compete in the 2030 Winter Olympics in France.
