What began as an idea in the classroom became a hands-on experience helping a local business grow! Four of our Manning School of Business students spent the spring semester working with co-owners Michael Wetmore and Tom Couturier through Mill City Consulting to modernize operations and improve marketing efforts for their business, North Chelmsford Lanes. North Chelmsford Lanes is one of two duckpin bowling alleys in Massachusetts. Our amazing students, Grace Dockery, Jarrod Racki, Tony Ferriero and Hari Verma, led by faculty Daniele Parravano, designed a new logo, developed branded social media templates, created a prototype website and developed an automated Excel-based bookkeeping system to replace the owners’ paper-and-pencil recordkeeping. Mill City Consulting is a class in the Manning School of Business that provides hands-on experience for our students to help local businesses grow. #UMassLowell #Consulting
