Honored this year in the Cross-Disciplinary Creator category, #KulapatYantrasast is the Founder and Creative Director of why_site, an interdisciplinary practice based in New York and Los Angeles, working at the intersection of art, architecture, landscape, objects, and cultural life. Born in Thailand and trained in Tokyo under Tadao Ando, Yantrasast approaches architecture as a form of cultural translation – an attentive process of shaping space so that memory, ritual, and contemporary experience can coexist.
