Raised in New Jersey, James O’Grady lived in Harrington Park with his fiancée, Rachel. A champion swimmer in college, he continued the sport as an adult. Friends said the same drive he showed in the pool was evident in his career at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, where he was a managing director.
