Day one in Toronto, and I stood in someone else’s kitchen watching a family say grace over dinner. That is the part of this work that stays with me. People let us into their homes, their routines, the small ordinary moments most of us never let strangers see. And my whole job is to honor that. Build the lights, hide the mics, lay the slider, then disappear so the moment can just happen. I have been doing this for a long time and the gear gets better every year. But the thing that still gets me is the trust. A family sat down to eat like we were not even there. That only works if you have earned it. Im grateful for the crew that shows up and the people who let us tell their story. #documentaryfilmmaking #brandfilm #cinematography #torontofilm #behindthescenes
