🇪🇸 Yesterday, Spain officially closed its extraordinary regularization program for undocumented migrants.
The program was open for approximately 2.5 months and attracted an incredible level of interest.
The government initially expected around 500,000 applications, but in the end more than 1.2 million people applied—more than double the original estimate.
At the same time, the reform is still facing legal challenges. Spain’s Supreme Court is reviewing whether certain provisions comply with European legislation.
